Mild Hyperbaric Chamber
Mild hyperbaric therapy (mHBOT) is a treatment that creates an oxygen-rich pressurized environment. The increased pressure to the body allows the oxygen to not only enter red blood cells, but plasma as well. Blood, tissue, and organs benefit from this increased oxygen by accelerated regeneration and reduced inflammation. The combination can help the body strengthen its immune system and heal (especially inflammatory conditions).
Regular use over time can be a very useful tool to help those with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The FDA recognizes several diagnoses and conditions treatable with HBOT and it is used worldwide for nearly 100 conditions.
What should you expect during your massage?
Our chamber is a long round tube that you go in and lie on a foam mattress. You’ll zip up the chamber (so it can be pressurized) and the compressor fills to 4PSI. Once the chamber is under pressure, an oxygen concentrator is turned on that supplies the chamber with nearly 100% oxygen you breathe through a mask or canula. Regular clothes can be worn and you can use your cell phone, ipad, or read a book while receiving your treatment. Each session is 60 minutes.
